Dart sub week ?

We lost 1-6 but had fun.

I know this blog isn't much but we were a person short but relaxed and had a ball.

Julien won his match and we lost the rest. He had a 3c2 and 4x3 so big deal.

We relaxed, had fun throwing darts and I got out of the house.

Thursday Darts, Week 9 8-2-12

Final Score: Here for the Beer 1, Are We Having Fun Yet 6. I got to sub again for HFTB as Justin is getting married so it was Julien, myself, and Ed to meet Ken, Randy, and Dan at The Olde Ship.

I threw ok even though I haven't thrown in a while and the pain med I tookl helped me relax a bit.

Dan Rigby subbed for the other team and after his fourth dart fell out of the board and we giggled a little bit, he almost started a fight with Julien. I got a kick out of it as he really showed his maturity. I want to also say that his was the only darts to fall out of the board, maybe it isn't the board Dan, could it be you, naaaaaaa.

The Honor roll had Ed with a 3x2, Ken with a 3x2, Randy with a 3x2, and Dan with a 4x2 & 3x2.

Thursday Darts, Week 5 (6-28-12)

I got to sub again for Here For The Beer at The Olde Ship against 3 Amigos which consisted of Carl, Pam and Vince. We did lose 2-5 but I was part of the two wins.

It was a good night with Justin starting us off but he showed what he was made of in the doubles with me. We were ahead, fell back, and were left with 4 bulls to hit before they got one. He stepped up and did it masterfully with a single, double, and another single!

Pam and I had a good match with a lot of bulls being thrown, but I was able to be the better one.

Julien had his hands full against Vince as the second leg Vince had all circles until bulls where it looked "normal". No round of nines though, but he was close.

The Honor Roll had Justin with a 4x3, Julien with a 4x3, and me with a 4x2. Pam had three 3x2 all against me. Carl had a 3x2 also.

Thursday Darts, Week 4 (6-21-12)

I got to sub for Ed on Here For The Beer against AWHFY? last night and I found out no practice makes you shoot like kaka. Justin and Julien were the two other members of HFTB and Ken, Randy and Jeff made up Are We Having Fun Yet and we shot out of Centerfield Sports Bar.

That done with on to the game, not the NBA game as the Lakers weren't playing, the dart game.

Julien brought his game against Randy and won with little to no effort.

Justin shot a close game against Ken and yes the order was reversed as Justin showed up a little late.

I shot like I haven't shot since last season. Wait, I haven't shot except a quick game with Greg, so yes the lack of practice showed. I did finally warm up in the team game but we still lost that one.

The Honor Roll had Ken with a 4x3, Jeff a 3x2, Randy 3x2 and a 3x3.

Fun day Friday darts with my son

It was nice shooting darts with Greg today even though he beat me as I still can't close

Thursday Darts, Week 14 (4-19-12)

Final Score: Da Geeks 2, AWHFY 5. Randy, Ken, and Jeff showed up at Centerfield Sports Bar and Grill and shot the heck out of the bulls-eye.

I was OK but throwing one trip out of every 3 darts wasn't enough to get it done.

Greg had an interesting match-up against Jeff. First game Jeff was the Bull keeper and Greg had the numbers:
Greg won that one. The second game it was turned around and Jeff had the numbers and Greg had the bulls.

The Honor Roll had Greg with a 3x3, Ken had a 3x2, Jeff had a 4x3, and Randy had a 3x2 and two 4x3's.

Well dear readers, it looks like this will be the last blog for a while as Greg is taking off the summer season and I don't have a partner. I want to also thank Marvin for being my teammate for a lot of years, it's been fun dude, enjoy your dart retirement.

Tuesday Darts, Week 14 (4-17-12)

Final Score: Geek & Son 2, Last Minute 5. Ryan and Helen showed up at the Dolphin Lounge and kicked our Arses! Helen did mention when we took a break "I am playing with a bunch of pussies", come on now, we need a break!

Night went long and Ryan hitting 7 19's in one throw in a single's game of Cricket didn't help.

The Honor Roll had Ryan with a 3x3.

Greg is taking off the upcoming summer season so he can enjoy his summer, going on motorcycle rides on his days off, kayaking at Catalina, etc. I really hope he enjoys himself as if I had the ability, I would do the same. I am looking for a partner so I can continue to shoot and my feelers are out there looking.

Thursday Darts, Week 13 (4-12-12)

Final Score: Da Geeks 3, Twitchers 4. Jim, Bob, and Mike showed up at The Olde Ship and they actually won!

Greg had an easy time with Jim because after he beat him the first game, Jim gave up and gave him the rest of the singles. Marv had problems with 16's and I just did not have enough to beat Mike.

The Honor Roll had me with a 3x2 and Bob had a 3x2.

Tuesday Darts, Week 13 (4-10-12)

Final Score: Geek & Son 5, The Point Players 5. Vicki and Cindi are a lot of fun to shoot against and we had fun at The Dolphin Lounge.

My game was a little off last night and I lost my singles matches against the girls!!! Yes I lost against Vicki!!! OMG!!!! I did go 3 games but WTF??? I lost against the girls!!!! Yes I know Vicki was just shooting at the bulls but scoring an average of 50 points a throw, but I lost!!

Greg was Mr. Bull last night as this video shows:

What can I say but "Super Happy Dart Time!"

The Honor Roll had Greg with a Ton-20 and a 3x32. I had a 3x2 also.

Thursday Darts, Week 12 (4-5-12)

Final Score: Da Geeks 5, Bud Guys 2. Don, Ernie, and Chuck showed up at one of the worst places to throw darts, Michael's Sports Pub and Grill. Greg took the night off and Kim subbed for him.

I say that Michael's is a bad place to throw darts for numerous reasons. Take a look at this picture and I will " 'slpain Lucy":
This was taken from the line and you can see that the area is in a traffic area, the traffic to the restrooms and for the staff to take dirty dishes to the back. With a lot of people drinking, this can be quite a challenge at times. Notice the "broken" punching machine in the background. It is so funny how it "breaks" every time I show up there to shoot. With it not broken, people, aka "macho men", try to show off and take no consideration of us trying to hold a league match. In the picture you can see an opening to the upper area where there is one of those basketball games. Last night some people were playing the game, a beer placed on the railing in the opening, a bounced ball, and presto, beer being spilled on the table below where my open darts case was, my sweatshirt, and the score sheet for the night. Lastly the carpet that is below the dart area has no padding underneath and when a dart bounces out of the dried, worn out bull hits the ground.....more about that later.

I started out the night slow but then I caught my groove and won my first game. The second game I had a good lead until one of my darts bounced out of the bull, hit the floor, and I bet the tip of the dart causing a noticeable burr on the tip. I could not find my sandpaper and my fish-hook sharpener was lost a while ago by either Greg or I so I was thinking about the tip, not my game and lost the second one. The rubber match was all me as I found the sandpaper and corrected the tip and just threw good darts.

Kim started out strong but Ironman Ernie (Fe) did he thing and beat him. Marvin started out slow but came on strong to win his singles. Kim did take the last dart out pot and he took his dollar out and handed me the rest of the pot ($5) for his sub fee.

The Honor Roll had everyone but Kim get a 3x2, something you don't see every day.

Tuesday Darts, Week 12 (4-3-12)

Final Score: Geek & Son 2, Tom &  Bob 5. Tom and Bob showed up at Centerfield Sports Bar & Grill and beat us, but we kept all but the Cricket games close.

We did try but they had our number when it was time to shoot Cricket. We just couldn't get it together.

I was able to take out a few '01 outs when it counted. In the doubles 301 games, I was left with 57 both games by Greg. I took out the first one with a 19-D19 with a dart in hand and the last one with a 3-14-D20 by the skin of my teeth.

The Honor Roll had Tom with a Ton-40 (to start the night off with), a 3x2 and a 3x3. Bob had his almost Ton-80 with a Ton-35.

Thursday Darts, Week 11 (3-29-12)

Final Score: Da Geeks 1, AWHFY? 6. Randy Ken, and Jeff showed up to The Olde Ship and kicked our Arses.

Not a very spectacular night, I was able to beat Jeff in 3 games and that was about it.

The Honor Roll had Randy with two 3x2's.

Oh Yeah, found out that the Ship is cutting out team drinks soon.......oh well that doesn't matter as next season we are not throwing on Thursday and Tuesday's will more than likely be moved to another venue.

Tuesday Darts, Week 11 (3-27-12)

Final Score: Geek & Son 0, Bulls Hit 7. Rob and Woody showed up at the Dolphin Lounge and we had some close games. I want to send a big thank you to Amber who came with Rob and chalked for us. That was real nice of her to do that.
Greg throwing darts

With Amber chalking, it gave me time to make more notes so hopefully this blog won't be too boring.
Woody, Amber, and Greg

I started out my 501 singles behind until I hit my groove and in 4 turns I threw 3 times of 79-81 to catch up and then I finally got the win. The Cricket was a blow out and the 301 I had tied it up 3 times but it got down to Rob having a 16 and I had the dyslexia of a 61. Needless to say, Rob hit his double.

A lot of 80 scores for me

Greg had a little problem and was in the 40 range and Woody prevailed. In my match with Woody, he got down to 50 and I had 20. I looked back at him and said "you do have the huevos" and he nodded yes. I new I had to take out the game, which took me 2 darts. I then messed up and did not get on at all in the 301 game.

With Rob and Greg shooting, Rob had a 75 and he hit the double bull first but left himself 8 which he picked up the next turn. Greg was OK on bulls in the Cricket game.

In out team 501 game, it took Rob and I 3 times to determine the cork, tying with single bulls each time.

Greg was very smart in the team Cricket games and he took out our one game with a double bull.

In one of the 301 doubles, I got us on with a 3.

Overall we lost, but we drug ist out playing a lot of 3 game legs.

No entries for the Honor Roll.

Thursday darts, Week 10 (3-22-12)

Final Score: Da Geeks 5, Twitchers 2. Bob, Mike, Thom, and Jim who came in game 5 showed up at Michael's Sports Pub & Grill. Greg did not play tonight so I got Kim Specth to sub for him.

Kim took a while to warm up but then he got in the groove. He showed the rust from not playing but he did well.

Marv was a little rusty also but he also warmed up.

Me, I was on! I won every game I was in and took out the last game of an X (2) with two darts left in my hand. That was worth a $6 win in the last dart pot.

The Honor Roll had me with a 3x2.

Thursday Darts, Week 9 (3-15-12)

Final Score: Da Geeks 5, Bud Guys 2. Don, Ernie, and Chuck showed up @TheOldeShip to this:
Drunk and Rude people
These people had no consideration for us and were having fun in their own way. A couple of them almost had a dart or 2 stuck in the back of their head. To top it off, next to us was a wedding rehearsal dinner:
Wedding rehearsal dinner
They weren't bad, just had a small one come wondering over to the dart area to see what we were doing but Marvin and his peripheral vision caught it in time before something bad happened.

Greg had to warm up his first game but then he came back and stayed right with it and won his singles match. He threw good consistent darts. He evne took the last dart pot with a D19 after I had a 64 and threw a 7, 17, and D1 just missing "Tops". He did end the night with two darts in his hand.

Marv had a case of "Ironman" to deal with and a close game as they were going dart for dart threw the 17's.

I shot good! I actually hit what I was throwing at! My last game was Chuck at 260 points and I had 331. I missed closing the 19's and all he needed to win was one 19. I shot, turned to Chuck and gestured to him that I was giving him the game but he missed so I took it upon myself to finish the game for the win.

The Honor Roll had Chuck with a 3x2.

Tuesday Darts, Week 9 (3-13-12)

Final Score: Gaaek & Son 3, Last Minute 4. Ryan and Helen showed up @TheOldeShip  and enjoyed dinner and close matches.

We shot very well. All the games were close and we even stretched it to 3 games in the 301. If our doubling was improved, we could have taken the last game.

Greg had problems with 16's in Cricket while I could not buy a bull.

The honor roll had me with a Ton-21 and a Ton-26 (all 18's). Ryan had a Ton-15.

Thursday Darts, Week 8 (3-8-12)

Final Score: Da Geeks 0, AWHFY? 7. Ken, Randy, and Jeff (who showed up late but wanted to play against me) came to Centerfield Bar and Grill and beat us, not a total runaway, but the games were close.

Greg's first game was nice and close until it came down to the bulls. It went 3-3, 3-1, 2-1 and then the loss as his bulls were not on. Also for him being tired and his ankle starting to hurt didn't help.

Marvin was on the bulls, but problems with closing other numbers.

I kept close and I lost both of my singles by 2 bulls.

On a side note, Randy popped out his wrist and popped it back in, but he did throw the heck out of the darts.

The Honor Roll had Marv with a 3x3, 4x2, and a 3x2. Jeff had a 3x2.

Tuesday Darts, Week 8 (3-6-12)

Final Score: Geek & Son 7, The Point Players 0. Cindi and Vickie showed up at The Olde Ship and were turned away so we shot out of The Dolphin Lounge. Poor Vickie was in a rotten mood as she just got a cellphone ticket so this didn't help matters much. We were lucky to get a board as the Dolphin Lounge had a lot of teams last night.

I assumed since the last time the pub quiz was going on, we shot darts out of there and things went fine and it was not crowded as there were empty tables in the pub. I guess not as the ladies were turned away after they arrived early to grab some dinner. Greg and I were planning to eat there also so with the drinks and food, the Olde Ship lost over a $100 tab from the dart players, that went to another establishment.

I have written an email to the powers to be at the Ship to see if we could work on a solution to this problem. It is a shame that this happened the way it did and I do not like the idea of having to change home bars if we can't work something out. All I am asking for is to let us finish out the last 7 weeks of the season as planned and have the league schedule around the quiz next season. Can't we all just get along?

The darts went great last night as the results show. Greg took out a 67 with a 17-Bull, I called one of my outs like I did against Greg practicing Sunday, and there was a lot of 'Good darts Dad' going around as a joke. (You had to be there, but it was fun). We did only shoot one game of doubles Cricket and 301 as the night was going long.

The honor roll had Greg with a 3x2.

Thursday Darts, Week 7 (3-1-12)

Final Score: Da Geeks 5, Twitchers 2. Mike, Bob, Jim, and Thom who came in on game 5 for Jim were the team they usually are, not that good.

Greg was AWESOME!!! He was behind but then got on the bulls in one of his singles games. I was chalking at that time so I looked back and told him "Churchill". He just nodded and kept on the cork, hitting at least 4 doubles to win the game, never giving up. Greg also got the "Last Dart" pot of $7.00 for hitting the 8 then the double 4 after Marvin set up the 16

Marv had a heck of a round going to 162-162 and 3-3 for the bulls. It went down to 3-2, 2-2, 2-1, 1-1, and finally 1-0 on the favor of Marv.

I shot OK, I shot very good darts against Jim and he gave up and only threw one game in a best of 3 round. He gave up! I can't figure that out, why even show up?

The Honor Roll had Bob with a 3x2.

Tuesday Darts, Week 7 (2-28-12)

Final Score: Geek & Son 0, Tom & Bob 7. Well Tom and Bob showed up @The OldeShip and showed us how to lose, lose badly that is.

It wasn't that we shot poorly, we didn't shoot as well as they did. We did have them in some close games, but then it got back to the problem Greg and I have of not being able to close, or start as it was in one 301 doubles. My new darts worked good, although they did not fly as well as I hoped they would have.

I shot ok, Greg shot ok, Tom & Bob shot better than OK. Greg was strong in his first Cricket with Bob, but he got stuck on the 16's and Bob took it from him.

We must have been really into the game as I jumped my turn in the first double 501 then Tom followed with jumping his turn.

The Honor Roll had me with a Ton-21 and a ton-32, Greg had a Ton-20. Tom had a Ton-40 and two 3x2's. Bob had a Ton-40.

Wednesday 401 Dart & Social Club

Wednesday afternoon, around 3, there is a group of dart players who are carrying around the tradition of King Arthur's afternoon 401 time at the C'Est Si Bon. Greg and I happened to stumble across it and they welcomed us with open arms and put us in the rotation.

It was a lot of fun and Greg really enjoyed 401 as each teammate has to double on. Our first match was lost to an "On and Off" which was something you don't see every day.

If I still am out of work, we will do it again next Wednesday.

Thursday Darts, Week 6 (2-23-12)

Final Score: Da Geeks 2, Bud Guys 5. Don, Ernie, and Chuck came to Michael's and gave us quite a night.

In my singles against Don, I had to come back big time! I had 2 of everything and he ended up closing those numbers when I needed to score. I finally got to one bull each and he won the fist leg. I ended up coming back to get the second and then the third I was solid and got the win, Whew!

Greg had a good match against "Ironman", friggin' Ernie, but he was FE all night.

Marv was on tonight which was good.

Greg and I got funked with George Clinton and had a great doubles, but lost in the end, but we funked out!

The last game we sucked until I hit the Ton-40 to get us down to an 87 which Marv turned into a 30. We didn't win, but we had fun trying.

The Honor Roll had Marv with a 3x2 and a 4x3. Chuck had a 3x2.

Tuesday Darts, Week 6 (2-21-12)

Final Score; Geek & Son 0, Bulls Hit 7. Rob and Woody showed up @TheOldeShip and kept quiet during the pub trivia and kicked our arses.

We were close, but the other team pulled it out at the end and, well it was fun playing against them last night. At least I got to see this on the way there:

The Honor Roll had me with a Ton-01, Woody with a Ton-33, and Rob with two 3x2's.

Thursday Darts, Week 5 (2-6-12)

Final Score: Da Geeks 1, AWHFY? 6. Randy, Ken, and Jeff showed up @TheOldeShip to prove they are still fighting for the #1 spot.

I got my arse kicked bad by Randy, he was on fire. I tried to take him down in the first singles game by hitting a bunch of 15's to take the point lead, but nooooooo.

Marvin on the other hand was strong, getting 5 trips in one of his games.

Greg was strong, but not strong enough.

The night was theirs as the score shows, but we tried. The doubles with Marv and I got down to 2 bulls for either team would win the game, and randy steps up and hits the cork for the win. That was how it went all night.

The Honor Roll had Marv with a 3x2.

Southern California #Darts

There was a nice discussion tonight about this article in the LA Weekly and if it would affect the Pacific Dart Association . No it won't.

Now Dino didn't like the comments made by KiminOC and here is his response.

I like the response Kim made and the comment made by her partner:

LOL, Kim Bird is now accepting donations to the "Sue Dino Zaffina for Libel fund"

Dino,
I appreciate the fact that you need to defend yourself by writing a letter to the editor of the LA Weekly. I, however, find it quite interesting that you a person of such high moral, ethical and legal stature would not write accurate information in your rebuttal. As someone who has gone to "Law School" I would think you would make sure your facts are accurate or even hire a fact checker to make sure what you write is truthful. I don't think just checking the PDA association website to see who is a board member currently is sufficient to name a previous board member. I, Kim Bird, was NOT on the PDA board at the time of the incident. Nor did I post any comments until this moment on the LA Weekly board, ie I AM NOT KiminOC. Perhaps you should make sure you have the correct names when writing something that is going to be published in the media. Writing on a message board is slightly different than publishing in the media. You would associate the KiminOC comments with me as my name is slightly above the quotes. You also released a press release stating "Uncalled for negative comments and in the case of Kim Bird (KiminOC), board member of Pacific Darts Association, an out and out lie." That would mean anyone else who read it would think the same. You have soiled my reputation in the dart community, which I believe I am highly regarded and you have tainted my reputation in the Southern California Area in which I live and work. I believe that is called LIBEL Dino. If you cannot get a name correct in your rebuttal how is anyone to believe that you in fact are truthful in any other part of your letter. I seriously doubt your credibility. I hope that you decide to sue me next, because sweetheart, that is a case you will definitely lose.

Kim Bird

One idea that came up in the discussion was to have a tournament to help benefit the now defunct SCDA in their issues and if necessary to help Kim out in her needs.

Thursday Darts, Week 4 (2-9-12)

Final Score: Da Geeks 3, Twitchers 4. Bob, Mike, and Thom showed up and they beat us!

Actually they beat me. I lost every game I was in, dang it. I did try, i tried hard in my second singles match vs Bob, but I could not finish. Bob said it was one of the best games he had played in a while.

Marv and Greg were on, but Greg had Thom, so he didn't work that hard. Thom did take out the last dart of 32 with two darts, 16, D8. Very Impressive.

Marv was determined on the bulls which the honor roll shows.

The Honor Roll had Marv with a 3x2 and Bob had a 3x3 and a 3x2.

Tuesday Darts, Week 4 (2-7-12)

Final Score: Geek & Son 3, Last Minute 4. Gary Peterson and Helen were the team that showed up at Michael's for Taco Tuesday and terrible Karaoke.

As a team, Greg and I were great! Yes the score shows that we lost, but at the end of 6 games we were tied, our double weakness hindered our start in the 301 doubles. Greg and I have been practicing in the mornings when he gets off of work 2-3 times a week. This hour or so does help us and Greg is getting much better with the math and knowing his outs. All roads could lead to a 32 he is finding out quite well. His bulls were on last night which helped.

The reason I feel we were so good is that Gary is an A1 player subbing for an injured Ryan. I said it was OK that Gary subbed for Ryan, knowing Gary's caliber, and it stepped up Greg and my game and we were on top of the world with our showing.

The Honor Roll had Gary with a Ton-40 and Helen with a 3x2.

Thursday Darts, Week 3 (2-2-12)

Final Score: Da Geeks 1, Bud Guys 6. Ernie, Mark, and Chuck showed up without Don as he was on a business trip.

What can I say except I was on, Greg tried, and Marv showed up. I di call one shot as I was getting frustrated and I wanted to end a game so I leaned over and said to Greg, "F-it, I need a 3x2" and then I stepped up to the line, hit the double, then hit the single and had a dart left in my hand.

We go the curse of Ironman Ernie (FE) and then Chuck is quite improved after his rest last season.

The Honor Roll had me with a 3x2 and a 4x3. Chuck had a Ton-80 in the '01 game.

Tuesday Darts, Week 3 (1-31-12)

Final Score: Geek & Son 7, The Point Players 0. Vicki and Cindi are a couple who make up the new team and I have to say it is quite interesting to say the least, OMG!

It was a late night as Vicki was very interesting to shoot against, she being the more feminine  one of the 2 and likes bulls.

We went card, true we only shot one team Cricket game and they gave us the team 301, but we did win which meant we finally closed some games! I almost had a skunk in my 301 single against Cindi, but sh got on when I was down to 50.

The Honor Roll had Greg with a Ton-21 and Cindi had a Ton-05.

Thursday Darts, Week 2 (1-26-12)

Final Score: Da Geeks 1, AWHFY? 6. Ken, Randy, and Jeff showed up at Centerfield Sports Bar & Grill and had fun whooping us.

Marvin was very strong his first game by thrid dart tripping through 18's and back on at 15's. The second game he had the lead with 2 numbers closed but then Ken came back and with one throw, closed the 2 open numbers Marv had open and getting a trip on the third dart to control the game. The last game Marv got it to 3 bulls for each to win when he came an hit 2 single bulls then finished the game the next turn.

Greg got to experience a good player who likes bulls at the beginning and gave a good effort. Team game I mentioned to him that he could get a dangly with a Ton-80, he threw a T20, 18, T20, nice.

Jeff made a comment last meeting last season about "I had his number" and I think he was waiting for revenge. He whupped me the first game, the second game I gave him the game by not being able to close the bulls. I did feel better than Tuesday night, but I think I had leftovers from my cold.

The Honor Roll had Jeff with a 3x2.

Tuesday Darts, Week 2 (1-24-12)

Final Score: Geek & Son 1, Tom and Bob 6. Tom Raub and Bob Fitch showed up at Centerfield Sports Bar & Grill as there was a pub trivia night at The Ship and we swapped venues.

I should have stayed home. I was sick. I felt so bad that Greg asked the other team if we could do the doubles matches only one game instead of the best of 2 out of 3.

I did shoot some good darts though, dominated my Cricket against Bob and finally got on the 301 that followed with a 92. I did take out a 49 in the last 301 game for our only win.

Greg was good, but we both need doubles practice.

The Honor Roll had Tom with a 3x2 and Bob with a Ton-36

Thursday Darts, Week 1 (1-19-12)

Final Score: Da Geeks 6, Twitchers 1. Jim, Mike, Bob, and Thom who came in at game 4, showed up @TheOldeShip and it was super crowded. A corporate event and a band had the place full.

Smiles on Da Geeks faces as we actually looked like a team this week.

Marvin started out slow but he then took off and even took out the last dart pot of the game with his "G" spot finish.

Greg was solid and it felt so good as his dad to see him do so well.

I had an interesting night. My first dart of the night was a twitch into the double bull when I was aiming for a 20. I used that to my advantage and when I closed the bulls later on, it was on dart #2 so I had to do the third dart rule and hit another one for some points. The third game I third dart ruled on the 20's and led after that turn by a Ton.

The Honor Roll had Bob with a 3x2.

Tuesday Darts, Week 1 Winter 2012 Season (!-17-12)

Final Score: Geek & Son 1, Bullsit 6. Rob and Woody make up this team and it was so much fun to shoot against them. A big THANK YOU goes out to AV Amber for chalking for us, that was so kind of her.

Even with the off season practice, we still need more. We need to improve on closing as if I did close when I should, the score would be a lot different.

Greg was throwing good darts, but all to the right, but he knew that. Me, I was strong on the bulls.

The Honor Roll had me with a Ton-22 and a 3x2. Rob had a Ton-35 and Woody had a 3x3.
