Bummed

Well it happened. The team that forfeited the first two games has officially dropped. That means I don't get to shoot darts tomorrow night and that we are back in first place I believe.

Not shooting darts is ok as it looks like I will have my grandsons at my house tomorrow night so Papa better cook them something good.

Current Standings, week 2

Da Geeks are looking pretty good for both nights, Tuesday and Thursday. Pacific Darts Weekly Results

This Tuesday we are supposed to play The Pitchers, but I think they will be a no-show and they will be dropped from the league and all wins against them will be erased so we may be back in first. Bummed that I will miss a home game at The Olde Ship British Pub but that is the way it goes.

Thursday is a close league right now, but we are in first and need to keep it up.

Thursday Darts, Week 2

Final Score: Da Geeks 5, Lucky Dogs 2. Ellis, Gil, and Dave showed up at Centerfield’s from La Mirada! I am glad they picked this venue as the food shows.

Agnus beef sliders with a side of deep fried green beans with a side of ranch.

This bar is very dart friendly with  a seperate area for darts on a raised floor. And they have raised oche boards.

As far as the darts went, my teammates were on while I faltered at the bulls to let my singles match slip away. Now that I know the Dave is the strongest member of that team, I know how to place the matchups for next time we are the away team. Me with Ellis, Rodman with Gil, and Marv with Dave. That is at least a 6-1!

The Honor Roll had Marv with a 3x2.

Dart Supplies

I have found a great place for dart supplies. It is Kim the Dart Guy at http://edarts.net. Quick and accurate orders are his way of business. I felt I needed to give him a shout out so here it is.

Tuesday Darts, Week 2

Final Score: Da Geeks 4, Down & Outers 3. It isn’t a dart season until we face Scott and J-Dog. Let the verbal abuse begin! Which it did, mostly aimed at me, but I still love those 2.

I could not get into Scott’s kitchen although I came close to be making breakfast. I did have a quick game of 501 against Jeremy, about the only time I was really on last night.

The Bert’s were out in force last night. I caught it by shooting closed 16’s and J-Dog caught a case of it and shot 3 at closed 18’s. Pay attention to the scoreboard before you shoot!

The Honor Roll had me with a Ton-23. Scott had two 3x2’s and J-Dog and a Ton-35 and a Ton-34.
